Types of Irrigation Filters

Our irrigation filters are categorized into three types: mesh filters, disc filters, and sand filters, each designed to effectively remove impurities from water.

1. Mesh Filters

Made from silk or stainless steel, these filters are ideal for well water, effectively capturing light sand and rust. However, they are not suitable for water with algae.

2. Disc Filters

Consisting of a series of discs that create multiple points of intersection to trap impurities, these filters can handle algae and solid particles but may need to be used alongside other filters due to their tendency to clog quickly.

3. Sand Filters

These filters use sand to capture impurities, with a backwashing system to remove collected particles. They are effective but require regular maintenance to prevent saturation.
